Our History:

A family history book "The Andrews on the Manning" has been written and is available ($25) from the Manning Valley Historical Society, 12 Farquhar Street, Wingham. 2429. This book includes much of the farming and local history of the area from 1844, when Bill's great, great grandfather, Joseph Andrews, first settled here. Bill is raising his children - the sixth generation - on the same land. Over the generations, still breeding from original stock, various awards have been won at local and Sydney Shows. As times have changed, we have planted many trees after some of those earlier generations had to (by law) clear their land. This has increased our soil health and general biodiversity by attracting spiders and birds.
